Level 2 Health Excess (€752 per adult) gives cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital with a €125 excess per claim for in-patient and day case claims in private hospitals. A €2,000 co-payment is required on certain orthopaedic procedures in private and high-tech hospitals. There is a maternity in-patient grant of €4,000. Out-patient benefits are subject to €250 excess for individuals or €250 excess for families.
Level 2 Health Excess with Day to Day (€886.70 per adult) provides the same level of cover as Level 2 Health Excess. It also provides cover for day to day benefits and typically provides a benefit of €30 x 4 visits for benefits such as GP or alternative practitioners. These day to day benefits carry no excess.
Level 2 Family Health (€899 per adult) gives cover for private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital subject to a €2,000 co-payment for certain orthopaedic procedures in private and high-tech hospitals. There are significant child and maternity benefits including a maternity in-patient grant of €4,500. Outpatient benefits are subject to a €250 excess for individuals or €250 excess for families.
Level 2 Family Health with Day to Day (€1,024.30 per adult) provides the same level of cover as Level 2 Family Health. It also provides cover for day to day benefits and typically provides a benefit of €30 x 4 visits for benefits such as GP or alternative practitioners. These day to day benefits carry no excess.
Level 2 Complete Health (€1,397 per adult) gives cover for a semi-private room in a private hospital with the Beacon being covered as a private hospital on this plan. There is a maternity in-patient grant of €3,150 on this plan. Outpatient benefits such as consultant fees carry a €250 per person excess. It also provides cover for day to day benefits such as €20 per GP visit and €20 x 12 visits for alternative practitioners. These benefits are subject to a €250 outpatient excess.
These plans are available for all new and renewing customers from 14 June 2011.
