Quinn Healthcare will release a new plan, Health Sense Excess (€762 per adult) on 1 August 2011. This plan provides cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital with a €50/€125 private hospital excess. There is a €3,500 maternity accommodation grant. Outpatient benefits cover some day to day expenses such as €20 per GP visit or €20 x 25 visits for physiotherapy, with a €220 individual outpatient excess.
